11.5m² of Coverage With a 270 Degree Wrap

Unlike a straight side awning that covers only one side of your vehicle, the Eclipse 270° G2 sweeps from the full length of your vehicle's side all the way around to the rear, creating a sheltered area that covers more of your campsite and gives you more flexibility in how you use the space underneath. At 11.5m², there's room for a camp kitchen, a table and chairs, and still space to move around freely. With compatible wall panels attached, total coverage extends to 20.5m².

Fast One-Person Setup

The Eclipse 270° G2 is designed to be set up and packed down by one person without assistance. A heavy-duty alloy swivel hinge system holds the entire awning in position while you extend and tension the rafter arms, allowing you to work through the setup process without needing someone to hold anything in place. Three pivoting alloy telescopic leg poles are stowed along the rafters and deploy as part of the setup sequence, with the final leg poles attached last. From opening the transit cover to being under shelter takes just a few minutes.

320gsm Ripstop Polycotton Canvas With 1500mm Water Rating

The canopy is constructed from 320gsm ripstop polycotton canvas with a PU 1500mm waterhead rating and full seam sealing throughout. The polycotton blend breathes better than pure polyester, reducing heat buildup under the canopy on warm days, while the waterhead rating and sealed seams keep you dry in extended rainy conditions. A removable heavy-duty 600gsm PVC cover is included to protect the awning during transit, providing a more robust level of road protection than a standard fabric bag.

Box-Tube Alloy Arm System

The rafter arms use a box-tube alloy profile that offers an excellent balance of light weight and structural strength. Box-tube construction is stiffer than round tube of the same weight, which means the arms hold their shape under canvas tension and wind loading without adding unnecessary mass to your roof setup. The arm system is built to handle repeated deployment and packdown over many seasons of regular use.

Compatible Wall Panels Available Separately

Multiple wall panel options are available separately to complement the Eclipse 270° G2, allowing you to enclose sections of the sheltered area for weather protection or privacy. Adding a single wall creates an effective wind and rain break on the most exposed side. Adding all available panels creates a fully enclosed outdoor living space with a total coverage area of 20.5m². The Eclipse 270° G2 is available in both left-hand side and right-hand side configurations, covering both the driver and passenger sides of Australian-spec vehicles. Installation Notes

The included mounting brackets suit most commercially available roof racks and steel basket setups. Always check the weight rating and suitability of your roof rack and vehicle with the relevant manufacturer before purchase. Professional installation through your local 4WD centre or DARCHE dealer is recommended.
