AU Recall Notice - Darche Solar Roof Top Tent | T050801577

⚠️ PRODUCT SAFETY RECALL ⚠️

Charles Parsons & Co Pty Ltd (trading as Darche) has recently identified a potential safety hazard issue with the aluminium hinges on the Darche Solar Roof Top Tent sold between July 2025 and November 2026 (SKU T050801577).

Following an internal review, Darche concluded that it was prudent to conduct a product safety recall on the Solar Roof Top Tent and provide free replacement hinges (including installation).

This specific roof top tent has been recalled because the steel plate within the cast aluminium hinge places excessive pressure on the casting when the tent is closed, which may over time cause the hinges to potentially fracture and should that occur, for the upper portion of the tent to detach, creating a hazard to occupants of the vehicle and other road users. There is a risk of an accident and injury if the hinge fails.

Only the Solar Roof Top Tent is affected. No other Darche models are affected.

At Darche, customer safety is our top priority, and we are committed to promptly addressing and rectifying any product quality issues or concerns.

Please do not drive with the Darche Solar Roof Top Tent mounted on your vehicle until the hinges are replaced.
