Pull up. Pop it open. Shade in seconds. The DARCHE Eclipse Rapid X 2x2.5m Awning is a genuinely fast vehicle awning built for campers and overlanders who want solid, reliable cover without slowing down their trip. The innovative scissor arm layout and spring roller system snap into place with minimal effort, delivering full coverage in under a minute and packing down just as quickly when it's time to move. A tough ABS and aluminium alloy shell protects the entire unit in transit, and the freestanding setup with automatic retraction means no wrestling with poles or guy ropes at camp.

Scissor Arm and Spring Roller Mechanism

The Eclipse Rapid X replaces the traditional pull-out awning setup with an innovative scissor arm mechanism and spring roller system that deploys and retracts automatically. One person can have full shade up in under a minute with no fumbling for poles, no adjusting height by hand and no frustration. It's a meaningful upgrade for weekend campers and serious tourers alike who want fast, dependable shelter every time they stop.

Integrated Dual-Colour LED Strips

Dual-colour LED strips are built into both scissor arms and the exterior of the case, lighting up your campsite with clean, even visibility after dark without the need for a separate light source. Switch between warm and cool tones to suit the situation, from cooking and eating to relaxing under the awning at the end of a long day.

5000mm Waterhead Rated Graphene-Coated Canopy

The 300D nylon canopy features a graphene coating for exceptional durability and abrasion resistance, a 5000mm waterhead rating for reliable protection in heavy rain, and UPF 50+ sun protection for extended time outdoors in harsh conditions. Built by DARCHE, a proudly Australian outdoor gear company since 1991, and designed and tested for real conditions from harsh sun to sudden downpours.
